Hello, I'm Lenny!

I’m a UX designer in Seattle, WA with 4 years of UX experience and over 16 years of design experience, developing compelling design solutions for a diverse range of clients and industries, including B2B and B2C clients in military, municipal, and government fields, as well as in the startup space.

What I'm Doing Now

Presently, I'm a vendor at Microsoft, crafting distinctive user experiences for product managers within the company. My focus involves developing and designing tools that empower product managers to gain deeper insights into their customers' interactions with their products. Through meticulous analysis of customer feedback, these tools will facilitate continuous enhancement of their offerings, ensuring a continuously refined product experience.

My Story

Since I was a kid I always wanted to be a UX Designer but this was long before the term “UX Designer” was coined. I always sought the joy of seeing a person’s eyes lighting up when they are experiencing a product I designed for the first and getting what they need out of it.

However, it wasn’t until 2016 when I learned about UX - the combination of both the creative aspects as well as the methodologies and processes into a unified and optimized user experience - that excited me and made me realize that this was what I’ve been searching for my whole life!

Therefore while at my previous role, I completed the User Experience (UX) Design certification program at the School of Visual Concepts. For my capstone project I designed an innovative app for the Interaction ’19 conference to connect 1500+ attendees to conference events, presentations, and discussions, as well as offer a visitors guide to Seattle for both its culture and impact on international UX.

This experience has allowed me to add user centric skills to my strong visual design background of page layouts, typography and illustration, thus allowing me to create more delightful experiences for users.

What I Do In My Free Time

When I’m not designing, I embark on grand road trips 🚗, dining on and cooking new foods 🍳, immersing myself in video games 🕹, and learning more about the world around me 🗺.
